Utah - Environment look development (wip)

Environment design heavily inspired by the state of Utah, USA. This is still a work in progress and I plan to add a river in the left hand valley as well as some more details into the sand such as dust being picked up by the wind etc.

I used 3DS Max, Mudbox and Terragen to create this current iteration.

Current iteration.
Changed lighting (may go back to late afternoon) Added utah native foliage. Added sand. Added water. Texture and model tweaks.

First Iteration. 
Artifacts on the left hand outcrop, allowing the atmosphere and cloud layers to be visible through the environment, this was due to the micropoly detail being too high and the slope of the outcrop sides being too steep.
