Character development and Lighting study.
This project was a study on using lighting to dramatically change the personality a given character has. The model was sculpted in around 40 minutes in Zbrush 4R7, before being painted and exported into 3ds max. Once in max I set up a variety of different lighting rigs and made several render passes using V-Ray 3.6 and Corona. Photoshop was then used for colour corrections.
Model pose and textures are the same throughout, only lighting rigs differ.
I would greatly appreciate if you could comment telling me how you perceive the characters emotions based on the lighting changes.
